This interactive training episode will orient you to the Proposition 1 Ordinance, which covers workers in the City of SeaTac, including at the SEA Airport. We will cover your rights under SeaTac Proposition 1 and which industry workers benefit from this law.

Minimum Wage
The interactive training episode will go into detail about the minimum wage in SeaTac, including at the SEA Airport. We will talk about the ways that Proposition 1 protects workers in accessing tips, what you need to know about rest and meal breaks, and how to protect yourself from wage theft.

Job Retention & Access to Hours
The interactive training episode will go into detail about which workers are covered under Prop 1. We’ll also discuss job retention for workers when a new company takes over a contract at the airport and priority access to extra hours when you are a part-time worker looking to work full time.
